Jerry Wilson spent 22 years at Motorola in the Cellular Infrastructure Business, and has had broad exposure ranging from Wall Street to China. He has extensive experience in Strategy, Business and Market Development, and Industry Research and Analysis.
His insights into the evolution toward Mobile Broad Band are based upon extensive knowledge of the leading technologies, and the impact of subscriber usage trends on operator business models. In addition he has spent the last three years working in the private networks space, and cable video solutions.
His particular area of interest is network convergence and the resulting impact on fixed, wireless, cable, and private networks. He has been an eyewitness to the development and roll out of every cellular technology worldwide, and is keenly aware of the multiple factors which impact their success. Jerry believes Broad Band and Location Based Services will enhance Cellular's potential to disrupt established non-cellular markets and create new ecosystems.
Jerry possesses the insight needed to clearly frame the critical issues impacting an organization. He is a compelling communicator and demonstrates both the tact and skills needed to influence a team toward consensus and action.
Prior to working at Motorola he worked at AT&T and Honeywell Information Systems. Jerry earned his MBA at Kellogg.
