John Nagy has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing and software quality disciplines. He holds Lead Auditor certifications for ISO9001 and TL 9000, and he has significant experience in the Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM), software development lifecycle processes areas.

John has worked within corporations and has partnered with corporate suppliers to evaluate existing processes and to provide direct input for process improvement. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing successful process restructuring projects. Key accomplishments include:

• Directed a Fortune 500 company business unit in obtaining SEI CMM assessment of level 3.
• Participated in revamping and deploying a software/hardware product life cycle gate checklist for a Fortune 500 company.
• Co-created, piloted and deployed a new internal audit system to accurately measure a division’s operational effectiveness and process capability.
• Served as Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) senior member and SEI-CMM technical advisor.
• John’s strengths include analyzing short-term business objectives and business effectiveness, determining long-term impact of changes, and developing sound business processes with continued process improvement.
