Mike Weiss has over 30 years of successive growth in manufacturing and engineering roles in a high technology Fortune 100 company. Hands-on manufacturing and leadership responsibilities included:
- Directed the division level manufacturing activities of a multi-facility, highly diversified internal supplier business of a major sector.
- Introduced process control and quality management techniques in support of the Six Sigma manufacturing and product development effort.
- Developed a long-term plan for the facilities, sourcing, and manufacturing strategies at a division level.
- Participated in the development of the curriculum for a corporate wide Manufacturing Management Institute in support of the changing quality and reliability environment.
- Managed an off shore five plant feeder operation with responsibility for all cost and quality activities as well as financial results.
- Played a key role in the resolution of supplier quality issues and the development of criteria for supplier selection.
