Response Ready is an Emergency Preparedness and Response training product based on the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Z731-03 standard. End users must scan virtual environments to identify hazards, consult virtual advisors to assess risks, and make predictions on the probability and severity of emergencies. They learn about the importance of advance planning for emergency preparedness through trial and error by testing their predictions with simulations of emergencies. Scenarios include small and large-scale emergencies in the public and private sectors, and disasters involving dual-liability.
