QuEST Forum was formed in 1998 to pursue and achieve a goal of global telecommunications quality and industry-wide performance excellence. Through the implementation of a common set of quality requirements, the collaborative activities of its global workgroups, an emphasis on industry best practices, and the delivery of a leading-edge measurement system, QuEST Forum advances the quality, reliability, and performance of telecom products and services around the world.
TL 9000
In 1998, QuEST Forum developed the TL 9000 Quality Management System to meet the supply chain quality requirements of the worldwide telecommunications industry. Through TL 9000, it set out to achieve business improvement in the Telecom sector.
American Society for Quality (ASQ)
The American Society for Quality (ASQ) is the world's leading authority on quality. With more than 100,000 individual and organizational members, this professional association advances learning, quality improvement, and knowledge exchange to improve business results, and to create better workplaces and communities worldwide.
The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB)
The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB)is the U.S. accreditation body for management systems. ANAB accredits certification bodies. ANAB is a member of the International Accreditation Forum and a signatory of the IAF multilateral cooperative arrangements (MLAs) for QMS and EMS. Through the IAF MLAs and the Multilateral Cooperative Accreditation Arrangement, ANAB cooperates with other accreditation bodies around the world to provide value to its accredited CBs and their clients, ensuring that accredited certificates are recognized nationally and internationally. The global conformity assessment system ensures confidence and reduces risk for customers engaging in trade worldwide.
International Organization for Standardization
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards. ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 157 countries, one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system. ISO is a non-governmental organization that forms a bridge between the public and private sectors. On the one hand, many of its member institutes are part of the governmental structure of their countries, or are mandated by their government. On the other hand, other members have their roots uniquely in the private sector, having been set up by national partnerships of industry associations. Therefore, ISO enables a consensus to be reached on solutions that meet both the requirements of business and the broader needs of society.
Americas Aerospace Quality Group (AAQG)
The AAQG is a committee of SAE International - designated Committee G14. Its operations are under the guidance and rules of SAE committees. The AAQG is a cooperative organization within the aerospace industry in the Americas (including North, Central and South Americas). Its processes are established in a set of agreed, documented, operational procedures to Establish and maintain a dynamic cooperation based on trust between Americas aerospace companies on initiatives to make significant improvements in quality performance and reductions in cost throughout the value stream. Initial focus is to continuously improve the processes used by the supply chain to deliver consistently high quality products, thereby reducing non - value added activities and costs.
